Love and Naps (Not to mention my love for a nap!)
Ive been doing a lot of thinking lately, borderline philosophical, but not quotable. Its funny how perspective changes based on the wind (thats right Im in Boone so Im going to use nature)! It causes you to look a different way, change your angle a bit. A good friend of mine said once "that clouds are best after a good storm, maybe lifes like that too." I cant say how much that has proven to be true for me. My friend Leigh Lane said that among other deep, spiritual, nature based statments before she died. Ive been thinking about how she lived for hope, lived with love, and wanted to serve and praise Yahweh, the ultimate cure, redeemer, best guidance counslor, most talented artist, and unbelievable engineer. I find myself stuck in a hard place, struggling to show Gods love when my temper is rising and frustration mounting. But Gods love is never ceasing, it never hesitates unlike human love. Where we constantly find ourselves questioning our reasons for love. I know its strange but love always, love everyone, endlessly. Perhaps its separation that alters our emotional state. Im not just talking about the distance from Georgia to North Carolina, or the loss of someone dear but spiritual separation. When all you want to do is bridge the sea, reach the peak before anything else. The world is huge, the nature is so diverse. Whether your in the mountains of North Carolina, the rain forest of Coasta Rica, or the dry land of New Mexico its all beautiful. But the spiritual realm is so much larger, easy to get lost but even easier to be found because a flare can be seen from any depth any sin. It dosnt matter. I like to think as God as the ultimate search and rescue team. 1 Thessalonians 4:14 " For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with him those who sleep in Jesus." This brings up a confusing topic, one saved always saved and whatnot but God forgives your naps! With much love, that carriers farther than any noise or material thing, Whitney.
